What Will You Learn?

Hands-On Electronics:

Learn the building blocks of electronics, from basic circuits to more complex systems. You'll get comfortable with components like resistors, LEDs, sensors, and motors as you create your own gadgets.

Coding Fundamentals:

Start with block programming in TinkerCAD, where you’ll learn the logic behind coding. As you progress, dive into coding with Arduino C/C++, bringing your creations to life through hands-on programming.

Robotics and Engineering:

Discover how to design, build, and program robots. You’ll learn the principles of robotics, including how motors and sensors work together, while assembling your own Bluetooth-controlled robot.

Creative Projects:

Unleash your creativity by working on fun projects like mood lamps, plant caretakers, and more. Each project is designed to let you apply your skills in a creative and practical way.

Friendly Competitions:

Test your skills and have fun in friendly competitions like BattleBots. Build your own robot, customize it, and compete against your friends in exciting challenges.

Building Functional Products:

As you progress through the program, you'll design and build real-world, functional products. You'll sharpen your critical thinking and problem-solving skills by troubleshooting challenges and optimizing your creations to ensure they work seamlessly.

Project Highlights

Apply what you learn and express your creativity through mini maker projects, like designing and building your very own custom mood lamp.

Put your skills to the test by building and battling your own robot in exciting, friendly competitions like BattleBots.

Meet the Team

Our instructors Aditya and Jeremy, educators by day and robotics researchers by night, are deeply passionate about demystifying robotics and science, and helping young tinkerers to unleash their own creativity.

They themselves began experimenting with bio-inspired robots back in their University days. While they faced a steep learning curve, having to teach themselves about biology, electronics, robotics and so on, it was this foundational experience that put them on the path to exploring their dreams. They went on to build one of the World’s most advanced bio-inspired soft robots, to aid in disaster-response missions. They have been based in both Singapore and Switzerland, and won multiple international awards for their work.

Whyte Labs is out to help several more young minds discover their inner wizards, as well as the beauty and power of science and engineering!
